Horizon EU Maritech talent project meeting in Athens

Maritech consortium during the Athens Meeting The second on-site partners meeting of the MariTech Talent project partnership was organized in Athens, by Athena RC. The meeting brought together experts from Cleantech Bulgaria (Mariyana Hamanova and Tanya Dimitrova), from Athena Research Center (Lydia Papadaki, Eleni Toli, Panagiota Koltsida, and Prof. Phoebe Koundouri), from Cyprus University of Technology (Alexandros Charalambides), and Stelios Procopiou from Chrysalis LEAP.

Martiech people and stakeholdersDiscussions focused on the core activities of the project. The MariTech Talent will create a dual-transition INTRApreneurship skills development programme that brings marine sector professionals and innovative digital firms together for two-way learning. 

After the meeting’s end, networking drinks at Radisson Blu Park Hotel facilitated fruitful conversations among partners and stakeholders, paving the way for future collaborations.

A group of people standing in front of a blue sign    Description automatically generatedRepresentatives of Bulgarian port infrastructure company, Executive agency Maritime Administration and Cyprus’ Fameline, SaferSafer and Multimarine visited Athens to meet up and discuss the needs of the sector and the approach of the consortium to needs assessment and challenge definition. 

Then a visit to the Posidonia Events 2024 Exhibition, where key stakeholders explored synergies and opportunities for advancement in the maritime sector and meetings were organised with shipping companies, maritime organisations etc.
