Sea The Change (StC) is an innovative social impact startup linking ocean conservation with corporate sustainability. We deliver high-impact ESG solutions across Decarbonization, Biodiversity, and Pollution, empowering businesses to achieve sustainability goals while supporting local communities. Our approach combines nature-based solutions with cutting-edge clean-tech. The idea was developed by three environmental economists who figured out how much the blue economy needs innovative solutions, and on the other hand, seas and oceans are the best allies to fight climate change. We help companies from the maritime sector to innovate and make their business sustainable through solutions that bring value to the territory in which they operate, investing in the local community. We support companies in the blue economy on their sustainability journey and ecological transition through decarbonization pathways, analyzing impacts, and finding innovative solutions to reduce and neutralize them. We also work on biodiversity and pollution issues with high-impact projects, which we then communicate to stakeholders, highlighting the company's culture.

Our focus is on stakeholder inclusion to ensure that the generated impact yields economic benefits in addition to environmental and social ones. Our local approach distinguishes us, allowing our clients to establish themselves as key players in their regions, producing genuine and measurable value. Furthermore, our methodology enables us to analyze the impacts on marine ecosystems where companies operate, providing us with unique impact data for developing efficient and effective sustainability strategies. 

We were founded in 2022 and entered the market in 2023. To date, we have more than 20 satisfied clients who continue to work with us, and we are also building increasingly valuable partnerships to have an ever more comprehensive offering. Our next steps include the development of a platform that will make our services scalable and readily available to our client companies in a fast and effective way. Furthermore, we are developing an innovative and unique tool, specifically for analyzing impacts on marine ecosystems in the form of software. Combined with a machine learning mechanism, we will streamline the resolution and reduction of our client companies' impacts.
